Room Hire

We have the following rooms which are available to hire:
The Large Hall (5.4m x 12m)
It is equipped with large (seating 8) and small (seating 4) Gopak tables and over 60 chairs.
There are also 6 child-sized Gopak tables and 24 chairs.
The hall is carpeted and the heating is electrical.
The Kitchen
The kitchen opens off the hall and is equipped with double cooker, work surfaces and sink. The hobs are Calor Gas and the ovens are electrical. The water heater and wall heating are electrical. The cupboards contain cooking equipment, and glasses, crockery and cutlery for over 60.
The Utility Room
The utility room also opens off the hall. It can be used for hand washing-up but not food preparation.
Ladies' and Gents' Toilets
The Small Room (2.7m x 4.3m)
The small room is equipped with seating for 12.
It is carpeted and has a wall heater.
A toilet accessible to wheelchair uses opens off this room. It also has doors which open onto the Chapel and the outside.
The Chapel (Worship Area)
The chapel is carpeted throughout and has electrical heating.
It has seating for 50 downstairs and 20 in the gallery.
There is a raised area at the front.
It is suitable for presentations and seated meetings.
It is equipped with a loop sound system and drop-down screen suitable for use with projection.
It has a piano, reading lectern and pulpit.
Please note that the consumption of food and drink other than water is not allowed in the chapel.
Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the building.
Hire Charges
Large Hall: £8 per hour + £4 per hour for heating if used. If the heating is tuned on early it will be charged at the same rate.
Small room: £4 per hour and £3 per hour for heating if used. If the heating is turned on early it will be charged at £1 per hour.
Kitchen, Utility Room and Toilets:
The use of these facilities is included the hall or room charge.
