Lent and Easter at the Chapel

Lenten Cross

The Lenten Cross

Our Lenten Cross and Candles will stand at the front of the Chapel throughout Lent.  Each Sunday morning we will follow Jesus for the last weeks of his earthly life, add appropriate symbols to our Lenten Cross and extinguish one of our Lenten candles.  On Easter Sunday we will celebrate Christ's resurrection as the symbols are removed, the cross is transformed and the Easter Candle is lit.  This will shine at every service held in the Chapel until Good Friday 2020, symbolising the light and peace of Christ.
